>>7543348I picked him up when Vic’s Customs did their spring sale. He’s definitely got some flops—hip joints that aren’t especially tight, knees that are a lot loose. Arms, chest, head and feet are all great, though. He comes with a very nice LED-lit flight stand, and as long as nothing is wrong with his internal components, the light-up gimmick is VERY nice. If you can get him stationary, he looks amazing. Worth it for $50, but maybe not for more than that.
As for the wiring, I also have Shades. His light-up feature never worked, and when I looked closely, I noticed that his negative terminal was broken off. So I tried wiring up War Machine’s battery terminals to Shades (they are not swappable) and found out that Shades’ wiring or LED are burnt out. And then I wound up burning out War Machine’s when I attempted to find out if perhaps Shades’ battery terminals were completely dead. Whoops.
