I can see why Yamaguchi is pushing for more hard plastics on these figures. That softer material they use really dulled the sharpness of his sculpt, sadly.

The material and the paint really did a number on dulling down the sharpness.

Don't get me wrong, it still looks great and it's pretty good value with all the accessories - but compare it to his unpainted resin prototype and you'll soon see what I'm talking about. Looks like the transition is happening though, the AY Convoy/Optimus Prime is apparently mostly ABS.

Goddamn that revoltech iron man is looking good. I get it, it's not as sharp as the SHFs but none of the SHFs can match it in terms of posability and playability or even display options. Sentinels can come close to the poses but that's a whole different price and ball park.

I agree. It looks like the most fun toy in this price range so far to me and the last revo I caved in to were Venom and Wolverine. I own the mk7 im and mk4 war machine, as cool as they are this revoltech just looks like pure fun.
