What is the best Aigis figure out there? I'm thinking about buying the figma one. Also recommend other Persona figures

The original captures the OG style of P3 very well. The Arena Ultimax version nicely captures her in Soejima's modern style with loads of accessories. Worth noting that the P3 Figma has her wearing her original bowtie while Arena Ultimax updates it with a normal tie.

The P3 MC is great, especially since it has modern Figma tech.

Worth noting though is that the old Aigis Figma stands a small bit taller than the MC whereas the Ultimax version has been scaled down to fit their canonical heights with Aigis being slightly shorter. Pic-related should give you an idea on how tall the P3 Aigis should look next to the MC (though the pic only has the Heavy Armor version, it should suffice in giving you an idea).

It doesn't really bother me since the height differences are negligible when they're posed around but I thought it's worth mentioning if it's an issue for you.

Not the best side by side but here's the height difference between the P3 Aigis and Ultimax Aigis.

Admittedly, I do prefer the slender appearance of the original more, though that has more to do with me liking original design anyway. Since Yuki is taller than Ultimax Aigis, his height evens out around the same with P3 Aigis except she looks like she's on her "tiptoes".

They're the D-Arts figures by Bandai when they had the Persona license. Both are great but Thanatos requires the arm stand to connect and prop up the coffins surrounding him.

Bandai actually had a proto for Opheus but the line got cancelled before it got far enough.

I don't have photos but I was lucky to find him for about 6-7k yen on AmiAmi pre-owned back then. It's a solid figure but compared to modern stuff it can feel a bit dated in terms of range/functionality.

In this regard, I wouldn't overpay for it (my upper limit at the time was approx. 10k) unless you really want a full-on P3 display with it.

She's really cute, but she's even bigger than the P3 Figma (almost as large as a small statue). It's good if you're an Aigis fan exclusively though.

Really should wait for a 2.0 Aigis if they want to release every single party member of Persona 3, which is now slim to none because of Phantom Thief hype. Bonus points if they make their HP markers as bonus parts, despite the P3 MC having no bonus parts at all.

This was my first figure ever and it's being like 6 years I guess, anyone know if there is a way to recover her bright golden metal parts back? Mine is getting really dark and I guess it's the paint wearing off

Maybe it just a dirt? Try to wash her. I washed mine some time ago and she didnt rust lol. Only soup did wash a oil from joints and they become stiffer.

I have the Heavily Equipped version and it's alright. The extra armor stuff is part of the figure though and is likely a reason why it's so cheap since most people probably don't like its look. I've also never been able to attach the finger blast effects on her hands

I have the original and ultimax figmas. Both are great but I personally have slight preference for the ultimax being shorter and the way her hair lays looks better to me. I also have the nendoroid that is adorable but has an issue with her arm joint since it’s a bit of an older model. I’ve heard very strong mixed reactions about the daibadi one so I’d personally avoid it.

This is the one I personally chose in the end of the day, I really love her proportions, she's really cute, has a good amount of expressions/accessories, and her posing is decent enough.
