Remodeling something like this is well within the 80k he said, but to redo the roof? Nope.
So you have that 8 foot high ceiling at about 3 feet of space right down the middle, but with the slanted roof area making up the majority of the space is gonna make it cramped and hot as fuck. The sun is gonna make that place hot as fuck even on a warm day. So i assume he's going to put a couple of vents in their for AC, unless he's more shit retarded.
Is thinking this shit through really that hard?
He may save $10-20k doing some parts himself, but that's not going to get him another roof.
