Sand guy also has a more pleasing aesthetic to me--while Marine does have the cool skull helmet, he kind of just melts into a dark blob on my shelf. Don't trust the promo pics of him, he is significantly darker/duller in person. Gone are the clearly definable greens and browns and tans in the promos, his body almost looks like it was all painted one dark color. When I first unboxed him I was shocked cause I thought they sent me the wrong figure. Sand Infantry has clearly definable colors and separation, and heck, I just love sandy colors in general.
Marine's backpack is way cooler than the stupid minigun, I almost never use that thing. The backpack looks great and the rations let you set up little slice of life downtime moments.
The hood looks cool as hell, but is kind of annoying in practice. It gets in the way of the back of the helmet while posing and constantly pushes it off his head.
Also, how do the guns attach to the backpack? I can't seem to figure that out. I just have it wedged in there but it'll fall out easily.
