As someone who collects both I'd say I could use a break from the one wave a month schedule plus random single releases sprinkled throughout. I'm glad to be getting these figures but fuck, my wallet. I personally use Tamashii flight stands. I purchased a couple packs over the years. Plypus I also collect DBZ SHFs and they come with a stand half the time. They come in packs of 3. There are also a few different kinds. Act 4 stands are supposed to be used for human type figures. Act 5 stands are sposed to be used for robots and mechs. You can also find knock offs for a little cheaper on AliExpress.

That body mold kinda sucks. He doesn't vanilla pose very well because of his legs. He has lame accessory, and the head sculpt without the bandana has a noticeable mark on its side and it's been this way with every one I've seen.
But if you throw his bazooka in a drawer or something, use the bandana head sculpt, and give him some weapons preferably from some older Punisher figures, he's not that bad.
I also added panel lining to his belt and painted his neck black because the original paint job on his neck was a fucking travesty.
I got him for $11 and he was worth that. Probably not worth any more though.

There was a leak that showed a 3 pack but we don't know what costumes they will be. I think most people would hope they give us an updated 90s Jean, reissue of 90s Cyclops and if they went that route I imagine they would probably also reissue the Yellow Tigerstripe Wolverine from the Apoc wave.

I imagine they will pull some kinda bullcrap and give us new heads for Cyclops and Wolverine. I figure either a pissed off yelling or calm angry one for Logan and an Optic blast head for Cyclops. Though I'd rather have one with the burning smoke coming from his visor like Mezco is doing.

I know NECA does those 1/4 scale figures, that might actually be a better scale for some characters. Though you'd have to deal with NECA making them super detailed which would look weird with Legends.

but yeah they're basically the same figure with minor differences, none of which justify the price of the Walgreens exclusive now unless you have literally zero weapons lying around to arm him with I guess. Even then that still doesn't really justify it. The Walgreens exclusive also didn't have trigger fingers for some inexplicable reason. A few early batches of the retro wave figure shipped with the same problem but I think most that you're gonna find now will have the trigger fingers.
However with everything negative said about the figure I love that we have a classic Punisher. I mean, he's objectively not a great figure but he at least looks pretty great for being on a shitty buck thanks to it being the fucking Punisher. ymmv with him I guess. I know it has its fans but there's better out there.

As you can see, I took the liberty of reformatting because the way it used to be set up, I didn't have enough room for all the exclusives and 2 packs Hasbro is pumping out. So I've kind of avoided Marvel Legends because I'm really into gunpla and 1:18 already but browse the Marvel threads at work. I though the Walmart Cap was awesome and went to a bunch of different stores to try and get it. I never found it. So I decided it wasn't meant to be. I went to Big lots today and grabbed some 1:18 stuff and decided I might as well try the Walmart since it's right across the street. Sure enough they had one Cap and I grabbed it! I hope everyone else is having a good Saturday too.

I have been a stalwart supporter of "the hunt" and supporting the local area even if it's Walmart but this year I finally gave up. I just pre order everything now online and keep a spreadsheet of what's coming so I make sure I stay within budget.
