Keep in mind, my list is comprised mostly of shit that I figure won't happen, it's not like movies and GT shit are the only things I want. Stories aside though, I love these designs and I'd die happy if I got them. If I had to narrow it down to 2, it'd be the Kid Goku with base/SS/SSJ3 head and SSJ Broly.

Buuut being a movie fan is suffering, and GT Goku with several heads would be too generous.

I think he's referring to the fact that you can't twist the biceps a full 360 degrees. I get it but I also don't care because a normal human arm can't twist itself that much either. The articulation is perfectly fine imo.

Of all the upcoming figures revealed so far, I’m only planning on getting Blue Goku because he’ll be cheap. If I could get the exclusive Gohan for a non-rape price I would, but he’s just a repaint of a 1.0, so not exactly a hype release.

I still consider Kenshiro the true archetypal male hero. Violent when he needed to be in a lawless world, but silently in pain and remorseful for his actions. He was nurturing and protective of women and children, but deadly to his enemies.

I don't think we've ever had a hero as powerful as this in modern media. Most seem to have suffered from the changes in social constructs implored over the past couple of decades. Which is sad.

The Sayians aren't supposed to be heroes. I liked their detachment from their children. It explained why Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa were ducks. I love that he comes with both forms, and the SSG eyes are sharp and the paint is nice.

On the other hand I wish I had all 4 faceplates for both heads. I couldn't justify this armor another time.
Maybe if this was SSG and they redid the Majin buck for SSB. That would've been a happy middle

Also the white doesn't match on the gloves, but it doesn't bother me

Nappa was a fantastic release, hype I got him at a comic shop while I visited San Antonio. I asked what else you collected cause that might be the issue. It used to bother me a lot more when I only collected DBZ. Luckily there are a ton of great figs out there.

So I finally got around to picking up Gotenks after waiting for him to get discounted. I got him for $40. And I’m REALLY glad I did, I just love him! He has some fun effects, very useful stands, and I really like the faceplates he comes with. They make for a lot of great poses.

That’s not to say that he isn’t a really flawed figure though. He has a big head and he’s way too tall (practically Teen Gohan height). I also don’t get why they couldn’t give him matching sets of hands, with the right side getting two more than the left. And yeah, a base head would’ve been nice.
One thing I’ve seen people complain about him the most is loose faceplates. But after watching multiple reviews and looking at pictures, it seems like they’re just not putting them on right. The two pegs aren’t the only thing that connect the face. It’s hard to describe it, but you have to press down near his chin and towards the middle of the face in order to get it all to align right. If you do this the face will stay on much better and won’t fall off unless you mess with it too much.

All in all, this is the kind of figure you have to look past its shortcomings and get a good deal on to enjoy. But he is lots of fun to mess around with and pose. I can’t wait for a SS3 version, be it official or from DF.

To be fair, theres not really much variance between characters in most of DBZ. Goku's uniform remains mostly the same except for his current teacher's symbol, and Vegeta's just changes color or sheds a bit of armor depending on the story arc. One super saiyan/base form head sculpt can now just be repainted up to three times if/when Bandai feels lazy enough, between SSJ and the two God forms now. Not really surprised all of the current Vegeta's are just the same body effectively.

But it sure does make for nice cheap buys down the line.

I doubt that. Super Vegeta isn’t even really that old, and still a pretty good figure. Only credence to it is that I suspect we’re getting a budget SS Goku next year akin to SRoE and SSB Goku. So, I guess maybe they could pair the two up as SS figures like they’re doing this year with their SSB figures.

But I also kind of suspect that if they really get into the ToP next year we probably have a better chance of seeing UI Goku as the yearly release for him and SSBE for Vegeta maybe.

The recolors for OG Broly were simply to get around the fact that they couldn't re release him since he was an exclusive. Not really an issue with FP Nu-Broly since he's a retail release, so if they want to flood more back into the market later, they can.
