>>7581439>>willful omission of sculpted detailExcept not. the jeep mode is full of detail.
And it's not an omission, you want them to create new one for the robot mode. not the same thing.
>>weird proportionsMost of the 3rd parties have the same proportions.
>>avoidance of using silver/metallic/gloss paints seems like an almost paranoid obsession with replicating the look of a cartoon celThat's mostly a matter of taste.
>>needless over-engineering of transformation (Hound seems like less of an offender here, though)It's not an issue here as they do not rely to fake-forming
>>floating neck joints, obnoxious backpacks and kibble out the assAlmost no backpack, here, there, though. and almost no kibble. look again.
>>needless replacement of vehicle mode parts with fake kibble parts in the name of accuracyWe have been discussing this already, there is none for Hound. the black nub are not meant to be untransformed wheel. this is a design choice and other TF like Jazz actually kept their wheels unchanged in robot mode. Not Hound, therefore, you can not consider this needless. Needless is 3.0 Prime Boob window or the whole of 2.0 Bumblebee, but for hound itiis justified. especially as in some episode, it is not even meant to be the wheels. Also, tranforming wheels is actually quite cool and not done enough.
>Granted, Hound isn't nearly as much of an offenderHe isn't at all, IMO, people anchor to those black nub as they can't find anything else, but not only is it a minor part of the figure, they don't even have much of apoint using it to trash the figure, as Ihave already explained.
>and Sunstreaker areOkay, don't trash Sunstreker, because he is one of the best MP figure and the only faux forming he use is for th windows and even then he still use the car mode hood for his chest (albeit flipped around, but still). He is a marvel of engineering and manage to accomplish everything.
