That’s not budget SS Goku. They will for sure release a low-price regular Gi SS Goku in the range of SRoE and next month’s SSB Goku’s. Sure you can make it easily enough on your own, but it’s Goku and people will buy it anyway if it is cheap, which it will be.

Only other Goku they could really do next year is UI/MUI. I suppose they could also do some kind of premium or altered SSG Goku to get him back out there too. I would expect that to be a con exclusive of some sort.

BBTS is pretty much "last resort"-tier, in case you somehow missed it literally everywhere else, but some of the Japanese sites are can be pretty shit too unless you manage to get your PO day 1. Maybe in price with the free shipping, but Amazon sometimes cancels pre-orders because they accept more than they can fulfill, and has garbage packaging policies and might throw it in a bubblewrap envelope or box with no padding.

Amazon will generally always have more variety and better prices than BBTS. The reason I don't buy from Amazon much anymore is that they don't take any care packing their shipments. I've had 3-4 figures come in just those bubble wrap envelopes and the packages were completely ruined. At BBTS they usually pack things well so that they arrive in good condition.

I haven't personally had any SHF in a bubblewrap envelope, but they have thrown expensive Bluray sets that were similar sized in those, and I did complain and get less damaged replacement copies.

The last time I bought an SHF from Amazon directly they did use a box with no padding though. I trust third party sellers more on the packaging front nowadays, at least if it doesn't seem like they sell bootlegs.

I'd say right now, the best Goku assortment is SROE, with Awakening for head swapping SS+having a "damage Goku" body, and then likely the new SSGSS Goku thats coming out soon for having a SSGSS Goku. But thats only if you've got a "collect'em all" mentality, since it looks like the SSGSS one is going to be just the SROE body with a SSGSS head.

Not likely to get a new SS3 any time soon. This one that recently came out WAS the new/retooled version.

SS3 Goku was a retail release, so it is possible that they may do another run or rerelease of him as-is, but that doesn’t happen terribly often.

I love my SS3 Goku. It’s my favorite Figuarts I own. But that’s because it’s always been my favorite form.

If you really like the form and want a good figure of it, then I’d definitely say go for it. He’s light years better than the original and has no QC issues that I know of. The only issue you could have with him is that he’s a little basic. The only accessories he comes with are the usual hands, a couple faces, and a stand. I can make do with just fine with that, but you’ll have to decide if he’s worth paying an aftermarket price for a figure that’s just good and not amazing.

Fat Buu will probably be in stock everywhere for a while. He doesn't seem to be selling out anywhere, and probably won't any time soon, so you should have plenty of time on him. You may even snag him for a deal if you wait and look around.

SS3 Goku is well out of stock with no sign he'll ever really come back. Its the same standard Goku 2.0 body that all the recent Gokus use, so the body is great. Its a nice figure, though I feel his face is a little off. SS3 is a pretty unique form on its own, so the figure does stand out. Its a good figure if you get it, and it certainly won't be going down in price any time soon.

I'm not sure. I've even grabbed most of the recent releases and have been pleased by the latest reveals. Just doesn't feel like it used to somehow. I end up getting the figure, I open it up, quickly pose it around a bit and then hardly look at it anymore. It's kind of a sucky feeling though because I've been into the line for years and have always really enjoyed it.

Got my salza in today. He's okay. The joints are too tight in the shoulders and head. The legs are tight enough for his own weight and that's all. The faces are just jeice but in blue. The effect is okay. You can fit the black effect up If you want.

Anyone here buy one of those suspiciously cheap Broly and Gogeta on ebay? They're from sellers in the US but there's no way they aren't bootlegs right? Or are they factory rejects?

I remember thinking those were really cool back in their day. I think their just outdated compared to what we have now. I think they were larger than 1/12th scale too.

None of the figures were in scale with each other, especially the movie characters.You could probably get away with using Lord Slug in a 1/12 display since he's pretty buff.
