Disney really fucked this one up hard. They had a brilliant style for their Toybox game, I fell in love with said style so hard that I even bought some of those (and I hate statues). They oozed dynamicism, the posing and the proportions were fantastic. They were simply beautiful objects.
And then we have the action figures. Proportions are all fucked, can't pose worth a damn, and they lack the awesome crisp paintjobs and high-quality matte topcoat the statues did. Hell, even the articulation model is all over the place, it took them forever to decide on something standardized. In short, they have almost nothing in common with the toys-to-life figures. I understand what Disney was going for here, but this line really needed someone who understood it better, a better sculptor, a better engineer, and better quality across the board (at the cost of a few dollars worth of pricehike at retail perhaps). By cheaping out, they've crowded the shelves with shit-quality figures that don't seem to be selling well at all.
