>>7601462I don't know, American sensibilities miss a bit of the nuance of Kaijus, it's just big monsters for them, which still looks cool af, but, it doesn't resonate with me the way Japanese stuff does in this genre, they all feel kinda generic, Pacific Rim, Godzilla, and stuff like that.
I think Cloverfield got a bit of that Japanese vibe going on that.
I mean I like KotM, I do, but I can't wait to see more of Toho's modern stuff.
Also don't get me wrong, very much look forward to Godzilla vs Kong, I just hope it's the last one.
