>>7600322>See, I'm not talking just about the bionicle crowd here.Considering we are in a Bionicle + Gunpla related thread and you haven't mentioned any of that earlier, you could've fooled me. Before I thought your master plan was to somehow get Lego to bring back/improve constraction by complaining and buying gunpla in retaliation. Instead you think that the best way to get Hasbro, Mattel, Lego, and any other western toy company to improve their quality is to refuse to buy their stuff and instead buy gunpla. Even better, you think that once the poor, unenlightened masses see the superior nippon product they will immediately realize how they are being extorted and switch over regardless of personal interest.
Your argument is sane when it's just "If you're not happy with a low quality product, don't buy that. Buy a higher quality product." Why do you think we have separate general for 3p transformers? Why do capeshitters buy Figurearts or Mafex when Hasbro or Mattel shit the bed? People decide whether price is worth the quality for themselves. They're sending your own message better by doing that instead of just buying model kits.
>The terrible brick quality.Literally what I said earlier and completely agree with.
>And it doesn't accomplish anything either because it doesn't hit LEGO/Hasbro/whatever in the wallet. You're just one guy complaining. You aren't a large chunk of sales refusing to happen. As I said earlier, I'm not the only one complaining. You've been living under a rock if you don't think lots of fans are up in arms about this. I'm already not buying as much Lego as usual, buying more gunpla won't have any extra effect. Like I said earlier, the mot effective damage to a company is not buying their stuff. Buying from a different company instead only works if they are a competitor. Go shill Bandai somewhere else.
