>>7626121Better than paying MP price for a Deluxe. Honestly, it seems like the middle ground has become less and less appealing. Prices are far too high for what you get. Seems like you're best off just going in on either MP or Legends scale since they have the least fucked price points.
Also, I wouldn't really call the Legends scale a "nasty gimmick" because some of us have been doing this for a long time and shelf space is becoming a premium. Some of us never had the shelf space to begin with. Legends scale lets people still gain a sizable collection with a much smaller footprint and considering you can often get get 3-4 figures for the same price as one in a higher side class, that's still a pretty big boon in their favor. You can't really make the price comparison with official Voyager prices because at 3p prices, you're often paying 4x that. We're also just plain seeing much better Legends scale figures these days that manage to pack as much engineering, articulation, and detail as possible into such a small toy to the point that they're still pretty satisfying to transform, pose, play with, and display. With how good they are and how much CHUG scale is dying out, I'm honestly thinking of just switching over completely since I don't have the budget or space available to go all in on MPs.
