Colors too but Marvel was pretty lousy quality before they bought out Malibu and gained their digital coloring technique(the only reason they bought the company- it's not like they have or will ever use those characters).
Hell, the Hero version had the right idea in articulating the design, pity about the loaded diaper of a crotch piece it has that rivals Titanium Soundwave.
(side note- it seems these few crossover issues don't really count as canon in the GI Joe comics run as the G2 comics featured the Decepticons attacking major cities which never got mentioned in the Joe side, nor did these events get referenced again- they were a Hasbro-mandated crossover)
However even the official stuff has been lazy on G2. That horrible deluxe was nothing at all similar(or even a good toy, thanks to that gimmick arm with no hand), Legends was too muted in colors and had a terrible cannon. TR and Siege repaints didn't really cut it.
