I prefer buying everything mint in package, even paying that premium extra, to ensure it's as good as new.
So the time shit has come to me damaged, i let the seller know and they usually give me a partial refund. I don't make a big deal about it and just let them know what was damaged, and they usually give me half off.
Makes me feel guilty, since i'd probably be okay with just 10% off, even with loose as fuck joint (multiple loose joints is bad). Broken pieces? Eeeeh... some stuff i don't care about. If it's some antenna or light, i don't care and won't report it.
I don't like buying used, but sometimes it's the only sane way, especially with figures that you know are durable.
