Why is this, exactly? Most places, especially hot muggy places, don't like that because it creates breeding grounds for a fuckbillion mosquitoes.

I live in the midwest and you're highly advised to dump out old buckets, old overturned tires, and any other standing water because it leads to tons of places for mosquitoes to breed.
