I hope you guys like my OP image I ended up spending more time than I meant to on it. Anyways, I got this yesterday. These are supposed to have cosmetics inside like body spray or lip gloss but mine is empty because I bought the one that is displayed as an ‘example’ in a retail box. I’m glad for this because I didn’t even want the nail polish or whatever. Only downside is her icing top isn’t attached to anything now so it falls off really easy.

Hatchinals "colleggtibles", they're smaller like the baby LPS, no articulation. The eggs are fun to pick apart if you like that stuff. Only that Easter assortment has detachable accessories. There's also Pixies if animals aren't your thing, they're slightly larger.

The llama is a Pikmi Pop. In my opinion, they're the cutest toy out at the moment. I love the designs, especially pic related! They seem to be mostly big and small plushies, but there's also blind bag stuff because they're made by Moose Toys.

What was that doll I. The late 80’s to early 90’s that has fizzing shit? Like it was some kind of defect with what the fake baby food was made out of and it has some chemical that caused carbonation when the orange food was turned to brown and if you left it too long in the baby’s tummy the stomach would burst and it would send liquid baby poop flying everywhere.

My little cousin is 6 and obsessed with LOLs. I went out and got one for myself and it was pretty fun to open, and the doll inside was cute. I can't believe the amount of plastic though, and the price of a toy when you don't even know what's inside. In Canada you're spending at LEAST $20 for one.

The concept of putting nipples or genitals on a doll is an odd one
One one hand it's good to normalize anatomy that we all have
On the other hand it shouldn't be up to a doll to let kids know that the sexual anatomy is normal, when they already come with unrealistic anatomy

the point of these dolls is the fashion, the body underneath needs to be able to work with the fashion, nipples or genitals are just details that arent really necessary

The LOL SURPRISE dolls nipples really arent too bad, they only show through one of the dolls tank tops, if I had to guess it's likely just a flex on other fashion dolls to show how much more detail their body has than others, the hands are probably some of the best I've ever seen on a regular fashion doll

Something that I don't really understand with this trend is the plastic. I thought we as a society decided we should be moving away from creating huge amounts of garbage, but then the blind bag trend comes along and they all contain massive amounts of little plastic baggies and single products containing multiple layers of plastic. I would've thought this practice would be frowned upon. But I guess it does make it more fun to open, which is probably the only thing that matters to the company

Whoops, forgot to ever post it. There’s codes on the bottom of each bottle and as far as I can tell it’s accurate. I wanna get a couple more, might go get them tonight, I’ll report back if the coding is accurate. These are super cute, but I haven’t been able to find series 2 anywhere.

Also target is having a big toy clearance right now while they transition the toy section. In my target they’ve got an entire aisle of just the girl toys that are clearance. Most of the num nom stuff is some slime thing, but I also saw shopkins and pikmi pops in there too. I haven’t really looked closely yet

I was just on a rollercoaster of emotions at Walmart buying these things. First they had all of the toy aisles shut off because they were doing some cleaning or remodeling or something, and I was pretty damn disappointed because my only purpose for going was to get these. Defeated, I poked around in the only aisle that wasn’t cut off which was all toy clearance and didn’t find anything. Even more defeated, I went into the general clearance where I saw a few of these num noms strewn on the shelves and I excitedly checked the codes and I was hype as fuck because I was ready to get one at 5, but since they were 2.50 I knew I had to get em all except the one that I had already. Felt kind of autistic because there was an old couple in the same aisle but at that point I didn’t really care.

The gang’s all here! Sorry for all the random stuff in the background, my figure shelves are the only place where I don’t have trash all over. So far the codes >>7701380 have all been accurate for series 1, the only numbers you need to pay attention to are the first two. I still haven’t been able to find series 2 in stock in any physical stores unfortunately. I really like these things, food themed animals are my jam and these are super cute.

Try Capsule Chix. They’re a weird mecha musume line from Moose. It’s a bizarre combo of Figma, Nendoroid, Monster High, and a blindbox gimmick but they’re fun.

All the limbs and clothes are swappable, the hair is swappable, paint and face quality in person is reasonable, and they’re like $15.
