Found a crazy good price on this X-Men Classics Wolverine. Wasn't really in the market for another Wolverine, but some of you guys convinced me this was a really good one in a thread about Wolverine figures some months back and I couldn't pass him up for the price.
I like him. His build is less boxy and in general I think it captures Wolverine's look better than the Apocalypse wave figure. I like the shading a lot and the more realistic look overall is great. Even for spaghetti claws I think his claws are really good.
But his articulation is pretty abysmal. Zero forward ab movement, single joint knees, and no ankle pivot really stand out as awful. You can still get him in decent poses but he objectively doesn't pose as well as the Hasbro figure. I think the shoulder pads are worse too. Somewhere between these two figures is the perfect 6" Wolverine.
I may try a head swap but I can already tell you that's not gonna happen without dremeling the Toy Biz figure's head socket.
