Literally the shittiest pieces of trash I ever had the displeasure of letting f my eyeballs roll over.
Let me tell you something about “Bionicle,” kid. It’s many things (childish, simplistic, and ugly, for starters) but there’s one thing it ain’t: Lego.
In addition to completely hijacking System’s rightful place as the crown jewel of the company during the aughts, it further pulled a brand I care deeply about away from its three core themes: Town, Castle, and Space.
Just remember, if you supported Bionicle, you supported Lego falling victim to a disease it’s never recovered from. Gone are the toys of my childhood and beloved hobby. Now it’s nothing but licenses and themed storytelling with multimedia immersion.
Also the parts hold no resale value. Yawn...
As for me, I’ll take a classic like the “Galaxy Explorer” any day.
