>>7694102All Merida's doll are usually repulsive to look at because she has a round awkwardly stylized Kim Possible face with red springs for hair, and a boring dark green outfit. Her face doesn't look like a traditional Disney Princess face. Its way to stylized, and she looks like something that would come out of Dreamworks, not Disney.
Who is she? Shes a sloppy, pushy, rude, tomboy that doesn't want a prince because "reasons" and it almost costs the life of her own mother. They tried way too hard to make a feminist fueled princess who Don't Need No Man, and it comes across as artificial, forced, and annoying. Brave also fails as a fun action adventure Disney Princess movie. The story is dull, slow, and you just want it to be over if only so you don't have to listen to her whiny Scottish accent anymore.
Speaking of Princesses with annoying accents there's Tiana who also didn't wish to have a romance in her life, despite her mother begging her for some grandchildren before she passes away. She could care less about her mothers wish, because she only cares about become business woman, and opening up a restaurant. The films villain is nothing more than a poor mans Jafar. Hes basically a Jafar knock off, but with voodoo magic, and a fun song. Shes a frog for 89% of the film. As for her outfit lets be real, they just took a black girl and put her in a simplified Cinderella blue dress. Her I WANT SONG is forgettable, and isn't catchy. Shes also responsible for putting the final nail on the coffin of 2D animated Disney movies and this is something I can't forgive.
Elsa also pushes the I Don't Need No Man agenda, but at least he character design is beautiful so while I don't really love her as a character her dolls are usually beautiful. At least the Elsa dolls from the first movie are beautiful. They've gave her a more boring feminist approved outfit in Frozen 2 that would make Rey from Star Wars (aka the queen of the Disney tomboys) jealous.
