By virtue of the 13th being the sole survivor of the war between the original Thirteen Primes. Perhaps The Arisen could be reincarnated once a new prime takes the Matrix of Leadership, kind of like an Avatar cycle of sorts from ATLA.
As for those Decepticon leader pairings, I was going for a "Sith Order Rule of Two" kind of style.
>>7699344That's an interesting setup. I always thought of Prime Nova as essentially a prototype version of Nova Prime before TF writers really put thought into the history of the Cybertronians. As for other ranks like Major and Minor, I would have Hot Rod become Rodimus Major and Bumblebee/Goldbug become Modus Minor as a way to suggest that those two would become future primes themselves.

>>7699422That's a neat story idea. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing a Transformers cartoon or comic where the Autobots and Decepticons take part in local Earth conflicts like the Cold War or War on Terror just to see Optimus and Megatron politicking with the Great Powers of Earth.
