>>7712587typically about 50% of the cameras in a normal store are fake, but usually only management will know which are real and which are fake.
Those little fuckers that hang off the side of a shelf and blink are all fake.
As for toys you can get away scott free with small stuff but youre not gonna really get by unnoticed with anything remotely big, walking in with a backpack or something along those lines are an immediate redlight to watch you.
>regular employees cant stop you only management or Asset protection>cant follow you into a restroom>cant follow you into the parking lot>you'll typically know if a member of managemnt are watching you but plains clothing asset protection you wont unless you shop there enough to figure out who it is>no idea if anyone is watching you on camera>you can always dash out an emergency exit but the alarms will go off and you'll be made, if you're an idiot walking back to his car you'll get cops on you before you leave, if you have a car waiting for you they just forward the car tag to the cops.Having said all this toys are for the most part low priority items that are kept watch on, the company usuallly prefers to just eat the shrink on em, try that shit with hoverboards though and unholy hell will descend upon you, trying to steal some of them get you a response similar to if you tried to steal a bunch of tvs.
All in all its not worth it if you shop at said store or live nearby, if you're passing through and never intend to come back to said store its a maybe.
Just dont be the dumbass that tries to hide expensive stuff in storage tote and just pay for it then act shocked and appalled when they look inside and see the shit packed in there.
