My office is a medium sized room, hence those "giant" speakers and those other speakers on the wall too.
And you do know that good speakers will sound great at any distance, right? They're a three way speaker set, so they're just amazing and don't need a subwoofer, because it has a passive radiator in the back. I have another set of speakers with front facing passive radiator where you can feel the bass even at 15% volume and not sound like bloated shit. But they're only a two way speaker and works better with a center channel, so they're used for my entertainment center.
The speakers on the wall? Also have a passive radiator, but are ontop. They're very much a club speaker. They'll make your face and chest tingle. Using blu-tack to keep them in place because i didnt want to screw into them and it kills any vibration too.
It's great to have a variety of options available, because why limit yourself when you have the space?
