>>7722430Yeah, I agree. it's pretty fucking wrong for a company to charge even that much money for a lump of junk.
>>7722517I could be a bed ridden centenarian and gravity would still come for these figures if so someone so much breathed in the room (hyperbole, but point being you didn't have to directly interact with them). And no, these stands are pathetic. They hardly do anything given the weight of these figures. If anything, make their balance more precarious unless you use one on both feet as one won't fit both.
To elaborate:
The only decent figures in the bunch were Gipsy Danger and Cherno Alpha. Even then Gipsy was kind of skinny so that helped him stay upright but made him feel kind of lame along with the poor articulation. Cherno was barely saved from his top heaviness by good ground contact and best joints of the bunch.
Coyote Tango: Cannon on the back came apart and fell off. Seemed like some sort of adhesive failure? But I think there was more to it.. maybe it led to an entire arm being lost?
Gipsy Danger: Part of the foot, ankle I believe just snapped off.
Crimson Typhoon. Despite how many falls this dude took I can't remember what if anything broke. Really surprising given his leg joints were a joke in rigidity. Constantly thudding onto the dresser I had these guys on mostly at first.
Striker Eureka: The biggest disappointment of the bunch. This was my favorite Jaeger so I was super thrilled when this wave hit. I shit you not, the first one I bought I found broken in the package, leg joint disintegrated. A bad omen of what was to come, as it would turn out. Okay no big deal, just go and exchange for the other one they had at the store. Not broken, cool. Well, that wouldn't be for long. Same leg strikes. Well, I'm handy, I fix the ring of the joint with some stiff thick wire and super glue. What now? Well, shit the arm breaks in the same way. Much more difficult to repair. If I wanted to be constantly gluing I'd still be building 40k models.
