I wasn't borrn when ANH came out, but i sure as fuck was excited about ESB, despite being too young. I remember being scared shitless about what went on in that movie and i pretty much still view it as a horror movie to this day.
Also, you're forgetting about the clone wars cartoons, which is a continuation of the prequels.
Rose tinted shades are shit, but fuck if shit like this doesn't fill my nostalgiabladder with warm goodness, despite knowing it's a horrible cartoon.
