>>7726959>-Not a fan of the excesive greeble. Not that guy but I feel the same way. That has nothing to do with G1-ness. I prefer the old Gen Springer to the new one, even though the new one is more G1-accurate, because what I like are good, clean designs. Scream just has a distractingly large amount of unnecessary mechanical detail compared to the rest of the Siege line.

But really my problem isn't with the Tetrajet itself (I think Colonial Vipers look cool, in fact), it's the fact that no effort was put into making it anything more than a shellformer. You'd think a plane mode with a taller vertical silhouette would be able to work more of its mass out from the underside, but nope. It feels like there's more below it than any of the flat earth jets we've seen.
>-Not a fan of tha fake chest cockpit and shell former transformation.>Valid, but I'll take that compromise if means I get such an amazing bot mode.I agree that the general structure and articulation of Siege Scream's robot mode is pretty neat, I just wish the faux part was better integrated than being a random plane cockpit sitting on the ass end of a tetrajet. Super lazy design.
Basically, I believe Hastak's designers do have it in them to give us well-articulated planes that don't have a cube of robot bits sticking out the bottom or a bunch of ugly unpainted sculpting. I'm going to wait to grab any seekers until we do get that, however. Unlike, say, Hound or Skytread, we all know they're going to take another swing at a CHUG Starscream in a year or two, so I'm content to hold out hope for a better one.
