>>7732795I guess you haven't been paying attention, but China's been realing from these tarrifs, and the new trade deals the US is making (this week) to offset the Chinese products is definitely injuring them.
Combined with the massive walkback of their currency devaluation and the Hong Kong protestors, and all these businesses pulling out of China, China needs a win pretty badly. And there's not really good indicators that Trump will lose the election, so waiting it out a year just in case is pretty risky for them.
Watching the way China is behaving is the key to seeing how badly they're hurt, and they're fucking panicking.
It's strange that our little hobby is impacted so much by geopolitical events, but I guess that's where we are.
