As far as I can tell, no. Someone just necro’ed the thread without there actual being new content.

And the drama being stirred up is that the mods won’t even let people link to any sources which have any “questionable” images, like the weibos or twitters. And also are threatening to shut the whole thread down if ‘too many’ commentators break rules about what type of content they’re aloud to comment on. And also that people aren’t aloud to comment on Nicee or the Biker girls because that thread did get shut down.

So yeah, glad I’m not a actually a member of that site, because that’s way too much mod power for my tastes.

I appreciate Gigapower, but from what I realized, FT is still more solid build wise(after Scoria) and has great customer care when it comes to their products. If Giga breaks I doubt you will get any replacement parts.

Quakeblast was probably my most transformed MP bot. I didn't expect the leg to come off so easily one day during transformation but I wasn't exactly surprised either.
But yeah, I got a little to curious and the second leg also came right off with a little pull. The flaw comes from a little gear in the upper thigh that held all the diecast by a little stem nub. It just can't hold all that weight forever, and I figure that leaving it upright in Gun Mode helped stressed that plastic.

If you don't fuck around with it too much it should be fine. I don't think transformation will stress the pegs much, but leaving it standing up on the handle in gun mode or kicking the legs up will damage the pegs.
I had mine for six months and I treated that damn thing more like a toy than a display piece. I really want another one for my Shockwave piece for my display but its gonna suck that I can't dick around with it much.

Perhaps sadly, no. I think I was even more surprised at his crown not being diecast, but that's perhaps being a little spoiled by Grinder.

The other hand is not as fitting on the mushroom peg so it can come off with swiveling. This one had the opposite problem, and this is the result. I'm going to try and work with ShowZ, but from what I've read on the various TFW threads, GP is notorious for the "speed" at which they seem to work with replacement parts.

I probably read your post wrong then. Yeah I know what you mean with FT and TFW. I already contacted the person to contact with FT before. I noticed that my OG Scoria has a crack in one of his parts and when I asked he told me that, unfortunately there was no extra part for him. If they reissue Scoria again, he gave me his word in writing that I can just contact him and he will help me with a replacement part.

I only mentioned Cesium because he's essentially their first v2 figure. But I don't have any experience with him beyond what videos I saw when he came out. I really wish Scoria didn't have his hip issues, or his weapon holding issue (and in my particular case, that his green was a darker shade). Then I had this "QC" issue with Sever, where this is what I got as the replacement leg cover with Grinder.

The hips were the sign of the times. Sure that part doesn't really hold well after 5 years because of how heavy their feets are but it's still a relic of the past that I'm fine with. It's not like I'm posing my Scoria flying anyways so it's not too bad as long as his feet is on the ground. The weapon problem is due to design of the weapon. It was ugly in G1, still ugly in an mp scale.

If you look around you can see a lot of panels are reused in both modes. You can see his torso panels in the planet mode, his foot supports and shoulders seem like folded up planet panels. I'd believe it doesn't partsform, but it'll be a really panel heavy transformation.

Well, I got jet revive commander, and the corebot is pretty fun. The shoulders are a total bitch because they’re so tight, but at least it means he can hold poses and his big weapon wothout falling over. Otherwise the robot guy is pretty fun.

However, this trailer is just a fucking pain to transform. Lots of tabs to line up amongst four parts, tons of panels you have absolutey no wiggle room to move around, and the absolute bare-minimum space available to store everything in the trailer. I know PE has issues with tight and precise transformations, but this one is just on a whole new level. It took like ten minutes to line up the panels to keep them from bending and making the trailer off-center. It’s just annoying, and I’m probably never going to transform it back again.

Don’t count on getting anything besides a straight standing pose with those floppy balljoints though. It just seems like this whole armor system should have been made for a completey different figure. I get wanting to reuse the Jinrai mold, but this just seems half-baked. I was extremely excited for this figure, but now I’m probably going to see what I can trade him in for.

Honestly I wish that PE just made new super posable trailers for the standard Jinrai mold since the Hasbro Magnus/Ginrai mold is just nowhere near as fun as their new core robots.

I know this is a test shot, but the way those panels are attached to lots of arms just makes this look like a bitch to convert. Kind of like the panel nightmare of recent MPs. I can just see tons of reports of breakages for the internal joints and thin spires already.

My ideal Unicron would have been a blending of the two. I really do prefer the overall look of Hasbro's, outrageous robot kibble aside, but the transformation is such a disappointment. The way Zeta's incorporates the planet surface into the robot mode is incredible, it really doesn't look it should be able to transform without partsforming. If Hasbro would have just used some of Zeta's tricks so the bulk of the planet wouldn't have ended up on the back and legs, it would have been nearly perfect.

Yeah, it does look a little scary. I'm not so sure Hasbro's will be better though, it has massive panels on small joints. The ability to keep Hasbro's on the stand during transformation may help prevent placing accidental pressure weak joints, though.

The panels folding into the chest, the heel forming from three triangle parts, the way he pelvis spins and compacts into the boxman design, and the shoulder formation are all really clever bits. If it doesn't turn out to be a mess I might get this for legends scale.

Q/C and transformation nightmare. The company/designer behind it warned everyone to cancel preorders before it released because the release samples were so awful. Of particular note is how mangled it came inside the packaging, the mushroom peg hands and single pegged head flying off at the slightest breeze, and the transformation being a mess complicating the tolerances and scraping paint.

La Hire completely invalidates it across the board. You can debate the car mode and some of the sculpting of Hot Flame being more accurate or less broken up, but La Hire is such a well executed figure that there is no real comparison.

Wasn't their T&R's Jazz actually fairly decent despite all odds though. It had pretty good paint and Q/C but flubbed a bit on articulation and tolerances. Obviously the biggest fault is that Downbeat existed in the same space.

Does anyone have a picture or know where to find one of 3P Dinobots next to the recent PotP Dinobots? I've been looking through YouTube and Google, but so far the Black Mamba KO's are the only ones I've found with comparisons. The best I could do if you give me a few minutes is to take a picture with my Scoria and POTP Slag. I just have to pull my Slag from the shelves since he's in combined volcanicus mode. Slag is the easiest for me to use as an example since he's a limb bot and I do have the TDW upgrade slapped on Grimlock set so comparing Grimlock to Grinder would be a pain in the ass. That's a lot of pieces I gotta remove and put back on.

Vore Fetish Star has the better transformation, but it doesn't look right and it's way too small. It makes an adequate Primus, but it's a lousy Unicron since it's so damn smooth. That's probably why it's made that way, change the head and remove the wing, bam-- Primus for easy repaint to recoup costs.

When you show off test shots like that you really have to find the right balance between trying not to break it, and breaking it anyway because the tolerances are all jacked. Then amplify those problems by like 500 because it's a huge heavy figure with an incredibly panel heavy transformation.

Honestly surprised they didn't break it outright, it looked like they were about to at certain points, namely trying to pull out the legs.

Is Zeta the only 3P Unicron being made? Usually anytime Hastak are doing something big every 3P has a scramble to make their own version of it but Zeta seems to be on their own without so much as a rumour from anyone else.

Yes with the hype around WfC Unicron it made some sense, but this is directly stealing buyers from Hasbro, which has been a key reason why Hasbro never really went hard on 3Ps, but this is walking on really fucking thin ice
