I've ended up with a Constructicon collection. I've got the Studio Series guys, Roadblock (the Takara targetmaster), the entire RID Build Team and I'm eyeing the Universe Devastator repaints, and Grindcore from the 2007 movie (ie Constructicon Prowl).

The only one I don't have is CW Devastator, weirdly.

A friend recently got me into transformers after several years, my only prior experience being watching Robots in Disguise and renting the 86 movie as a kid. well considering you can still put orders in for MP-44 right as he is coming out I don't think the demand will be their. The price tag is an issue but also all the goddamn paint apps undercut what could be done with it. MP-10 is easy to cast plastic and have few paint apps. Then you have the voice box that would be another issue, they have to pay licenses to use those voices but to take it out completely would undercut your asking price a bit (at least over seas). Im ready to be wrong but I just don't see him having the same staying power. More so that the main lines are getting so much better with engineering.

If I didn’t have so much nostalgia for Bay’s fucking awful movies being my introduction to transformers I don’t think I’d touch Studio Series with a ten foot pole. Everybody always complains about the awful script, but when you take a look at just about any of the fight scenes in any movie you realize that the bad dialogue is the least of that movie’s problems. Bumblebee was a good step in the right direction, all the sequel needs is cooler robot modes than Shatter and Dropkick got and it’ll be perfect.

I think the first film has this moment that expressly sums it up, where Starscream is fighting both Ironhide and Ratchet: you get the scene of them fighting, then it cuts to sweaty Sam cowering under Starscream's vagina as Starscream does some motions above him out of focus and at a dutch angle, and then we cut BACK to Ironhide and Ratchet fighting him without missing a beat where the previous cut had stopped. You could literally edit out the human bit and it would be seamless.

1) i dont have that much money and im going to work hard to earn a certain amount of money because i will need them in November
2) Siege toys finally appeared in my part of europe
3) im 100% sure i will miss this whole line because im busy and i need to gain that amount of money
4) BUT i still can work it out by having 1 slot for one figure.

And i choose Soundwave and (ok not one but 1 and 1 pack) his cassetes. I think this is the best choise to have from this line. I want BRUNT for my trypticon but i think Soundwave and his BRO-bots is just much more fun to have around while im being stuck in my situation

That and Brunt will have a better chance sitting around awhile. Soundwave has always been a fan favorite and if the design is even somewhat competent it sells well. Meanwhile Brunt is a "who?" and the general public wont have Tryp to go with him so even with the weapon gimmick I think he will be around a bit. Deluxes also always have a chance at repackaging while voyagers are usually run and done.

They're made out of pretty shitty plastic and the fingers are attatched to the palm with ball joints. Because of these two factors they end up breaking very easily. Also the fingers end up way too long so the hands look too big but thats more personal preference

I paid retail price for FoC Jazz when it was new. What a piece of shit figure. The worst part is that, a week or two before, I passed on a Reveal the Shield Jazz that was still on shelves somehow because I knew I was getting another Jazz soon. What a mistake that was. Never did get an RTS Jazz until this month, actually, and thanks to an ebay deal it was actually the same amount I paid for the other Jazz. Figures.

I think it's more how much you buy. Like if this is going to be your only OP? You have a small collection/handful of them? Sure fine then. But as a got to collect them all? Or even you dip into everything including 3rd party? It's absurd for all the QC risks and size. If it was bigger even at the cost of accessories it would seem more worth it. I really don't like this formula in the Japanese market where they over price by a lot and shower it with needless accessories and electronics.

From what I've read it appears to be designed that you're meant to push the first knee joint as far as it will go before the second joint "unlocks" for proper use.

I paid about 20 dollars for a RID Stormshot a couple of months ago.

I'm torn here. I'm not sure where to take it. I thought Chibi 1 tot 1 scale, like the one above, that felt weird.
Then I thought I'd try sexy TF mecha girl type, got meh result in pic related.
