It was always gonna look a little awkward. They've basically taken the head of the one on the left of pic related, and put it on the body of the one on the right.

When you pre-order does it automatically go to your private warehouse and then you have to manually ship it? Like what people have already said, the problem isn’t the pictures, the problem is this person deliberately spamming an obnoxious amount pictures ad nauseum…he definitely knows by now that the huge amount of images is annoying people.

Maybe he’ll hopefully keep doing what he’s been doing in this thread and compress his multiple images into one photoset, (or at the very least he could do us a favour and stop using his messy beige desk as a backdrop).

2) The dude's posing is genuinely good and the photos themselves are good quality and not taken with a potato phone

Eh, I doubt it. I already have DBSuper Broly and the first release Movie Broly. I think I'm good on the character now. Just unboxed so still tinkering, but both figures in set have a number of very stiff/seized joints that need adjusting, particularly on elbows and toes. Worry about hand swapping leading to broken joints due to very snug fit, especially on DBZ era version. Gloved hands on Super version just repainted black, can see original skin tone inside of glove.

I can understand that. But if Goku Black is anything to go by, it's not a safe bet to expect a sale. He may show up at Barnes and Nobles though. I'm going to order mine from Amazon. I feel like I kinda need him to go with one of my DB displays.

I guess I'll contribute to actually posting pictures of figures by showing my shelf. I'm hoping to put Merged Zamasu on a Tamashi stand behind my DS Zamasu and Goku Black.

Cool display. I like how you've mixed up Figuarts, Figuarts Zero, and Dragon Stars. They seem to work pretty well together, and the scale is clean. Poses are a bit boring (Gohan, Vegeta, Goku, and Super Broly look cool though), but that's to be expected in such a tight space.

Thanks. Yea, I could stand to work on my posing a bit. But the shelf is a borderline clusterfuck of figures, so it limits what I can do. But yea, the different lines go together fairly well. In this pic, I have the Model Kit SSJ4 Vegeta and Goku behind Banpresto Cell. I'm going to replace the Model Kits with the Dragon Stars versions. Also, I'm going to fill in the gaps with Nappa and Gogeta (who should be here by Sunday).

I've ordered almost all my figures from Amazon and haven't had an issue with the figure being damaged. Sometimes the boxes are dented, but I don't really care since I don't keep boxes anyway.

Well, I take back what I said about your posing, you seem to be pretty competent with it. Jiren looks like ass, but I can't say that's your fault since it's a shitty figure to begin with. Also, nice attempt at making Dragon Stars SSJ3 Goku look passable. You still haven't convinced me to buy it. I may look into Cabba, and Frieza though, so good job there.

Yea, Jiren looks terrible. I only bought him and Cabba to get the Kale BAF pieces. I sold some of the BAF figures, but kept Cabba and Jiren for a failed DB Super display I was working on. Cabba is at least decent, but Jiren is only there until the Figuarts version comes out.

SSJ3 Goku sucks pretty bad. He can't move his head up, so he's staring at his feet constantly. The overall mold is just terrible. But, he was a birthday gift from my little brother, so I kept him.

Yea, some of the Dragon Stars figures are passable with the right pose. The only ones I think are very good are Golden Freiza and First Form Freiza. The rest range from decent to just bad. I really wish they had Marvel Legends articulation.

Also, I bought that Cell like 5 years ago when the only other option was the tiny Figuarts one. I liked its size and sculpt. I saw the Dragon Stars one once at Walgreens, but I just can't bring myself to buy it because of the restricted articulation and lack of accessories.

Incorrect. Super Buu's elbow bent is super awkward and he forms a humongous gap when you try to bend him forward. He also has a totally unnecessary cut in the lower torso that has no function. I love Super Buu, but this is disingenuous.

I deflected to it because Super Buu was a figure praised to high heavens that had the same issues. In some cases, it was even specifically praised for making many of the same sacrifices in sculpt by him.
My point was that his bias came shining through in the title, in how he described the figure and how he treated it. The fact that he can't look at the pants without crying about how it looks like a cameltoe is especially puerile, which I found funny considering his fans hold him up as this guy who is always objective.

My buddy is asking if Ken/Ryu feet would work for a barefoot custom. I got a really shitty Ryu and Ken on IG that are kind of junk, so I obliged him in givign his custom idea a basic try.

Kens foot is the exact same as Ryu, just stuffed up further in plastic, neither skin tones match Yamcha, so I recommend just using Ryu

He's way too small, the green parts are made from some shitty cheap plastic, the accessories are somewhat lacking. I think objectively speaking it's probably the best articulated figure of 16 out there yet, but a 2.0 where they actually pull out all the stops is possible too.

Honestly a little disappointed with the ab/waist articulation and the fact that they didn't handle the green part a little more cleverly. It neither has good range nor is particularly safe to use due to the scraping issues that multiple people have already mentioned.
Thankfully this review shows that his ankle pivot is pretty great, unlike what some others have been claiming. It makes no sense for them to fuck up the ankle pivot on this figure when it was so well done on the FP version, anyway.

It's more to do with the different heads and managing to make one body type work and look good for all three forms, even if it isn't 100% accurate.
What else would there be to worry about? Considering Kefla's design is far more streamlined and should therefore be a lot easier to make work for a figure.
