>>7773912>Looks great, anonThanks!
>What lights did you use for the detolfs For the Detolfs, I have some wireless puck lights in there. I got them from Amazon like 5 years ago, and I don't remember the name. They're pretty shitty, though, so I can't recommend them at all.
>and the black L case in the middle picture? I use Ikea Dioder strip lights for that case. They're LED lights, I can definitely recommend them.
>What is the name of the black L case? That's actually two cases next to each other. They're Ikea Besta units. One is a tall 6 shelf version, the other is a vertical Besta. I forget the name of the glass doors and shelves I attached to it though.
>What risers did you use for the detolfs?I use a bunch of different sized risers. There's no brand, in particular. I just go on Amazon, type in "Acrylic Riser", and pick the sizes I need. They're really cheap.
>Where did you look for pics of inspiration for your display?I got a lot of inspiration from the Sideshow Freaks website. I just looked at the way statue collectors display their stuff, since it tends to look pretty clean and modern. I tried to replicate that style, but my shelves are admittedly a bit crowded. When you see the room as a whole, though, it still manages to look clean. I literally just had a repairman leave my house (washing machine broke), and he had to walk through my room to get to the wash room. He stood around staring at all my stuff for a solid 5-10 minutes telling me how he remembered everything from his childhood.
>Or how did you know to go with those particular shelves and lighting?I just knew I wanted a contemporary feel to the display, so I kept with that theme. Like I said, I looked at people's collections on Sideshow Freaks, and a bunch of Youtube room tours.
Hope I was able to help, anon. I never had anyone ask questions about my setup (I usually get people hating it), so I'm not sure if that was all the info you were looking for.
