I think you're mistaken. The Pirate Bay uses regular plates. Even if I'm wrong, that's a fan model. The official set will likely be different.

I like these vintage LOGO vehicles but don't like that kind of windshield. They are cool in offroads or trucks but not for a standard car. I'm glad they changed them in 90s.

I really hate that gap they leave in the front of the engines on that Y-wing, and the last one we got. What's wrong with the 4x4 hollow discs, and a 2x2 disc jumper? It'd be held on by the axles. What were they thinking?!

The y-wing looks way too clean. I know this is nu-wars, but come one. Give us a new bomber, FFS. Not a Deviant Art tier re-colour.

What was really weird was sets that came in both tiny box and polybag format. It wasn't even a regional thing, I have a few in both from my childhood.

I saw that movie as a kid and it had huge influence on the way I used to play with Adventurers series.
"Thundeeeer, I'm going to kill you with my hook!"
And scenes with him escaping when some animals were chasing his team or the way he passed quicksands were often recreated in various scenarios. I think there was also a biplane similar to the one you posted. I'm sure it wasn't Indiana Jones although they use biplane in 3rd movie too..

if you interested why there are no more no klocki komyksi:

I sold apartament and good amount of its money went on klocki.
I remember back in 2017 i was sitting in Bricklink every day, filling the void with klocki.
I thought using Bricklink is a good deal and i can have all kinds of klocki because buying only needed parts is better than buying expensive sets. Turned out i spent too much time on bricklink orders.
I was buying rare figures and packages of pieces "just in case i will need the for "le ebin MOC :^) to show on /toy/".
It feels kind of weird.
Because most of my klocki are important pieces and minifigures. Not super big expensive sets like Diner or something like that.
yet all those tiny piece-orders ate a good amount of money.... i don't understand how that works.

But still bricklink filled the void in my heart. And i will never say "tfw no klocki" ever again i think...
Every time i want to meme about it, i just open my plastic boxes and build something, play with klocki mechs while watching movies and it fills the void again.

Am...i actually found klocki heaven?
I still want a Diner though but i cant spend money on klocki anymore.

We were quick to arrive at the final solution.I think the biggest change between those models and the final one was, instead of a ball joint it’s one of those clip joints. That has a lot to do with stability in how people handle it. Of course we consider children when we made it, although these are targeted at an older age of fans. You know when children pick toys up and start to play these will move quite a bit. As children they don’t necessarily try and hold it carefully so that it stands. If the leg was say at an angle like that and it doesn’t stand they would just tell you, “that’s not working, the leg’s broken.” And we see that a LOT in the tests. Those clip joints just ensure that no matter how you do it, even if it does fall out of place a bit, all you have to do is like one click and it’s done – you can put it back down. With the ball joint, you really have to do an adjustment, it’s just a lot more challenging for them.

tl;dr: Because kids are too retarded to pose their figures.

Lack of cross-compatibility, I guess. The new 4x4 hinge plates have click hinge attachments so they can be used with several different kinds of click hinges. The old plates required the specific 1x4 plate with five ridges to hinge.

Bi-Wing Baron is almost finished but still missing 3 very important pieces: round engine cover, one wing and rudder.

Tomb - I found spear used to trigger chain trap. The spear is in very bad condition, will post picture soon. I don't have any other brown one, it was my only one. I'm glad that it survived 20 years and damaged looks suits ancient ruins. I'm not going to replace it.

Johnny's car is still missing 1 piece and I didn't touch Jungle seaplane. Adventurers Zeppelin in progress.

Well the new minifig sized Falcon does look pretty good and the only Rise Shitwalker set I'll get. Maybe the shuttle way later on sale too.

Arthistory/drawfag here, I don't see a lot of use differentiating the two. Or taking the religious degree of implied inherent 'value' of art too seriously. You do it for yourself. Outside of that we don't know shit.

(I like building cars and silly figures to inhabit my world. If anything i am more open to use a select few existing lego charcters and builds in my world today. As a kid i remember never wanting to use the exploriens logo as spaceships would no longer be my made up stuff.)

Johnny's car is 100% finished, found that missing piece.
Baron's Plane and small tomb are missing few pieces but they are like 90% finished.
Started collecting pieces for Adventurers zeppelin.

Once these tiny sets are done, I'm doing The Sphinx, then maybe main temple but that will be hard.

Jonny's ready but Baron has to wait a bit longer. His plane is still missing 4 tiny pieces. One top mounted riffle with black 1x1 pin and 2 small 1x1 plates underneath wing-mounted riffles. Baron himself is missing a hook and that white thing on shoulders but I call it 90% finished.

As I stated before, the spear is seriously damaged. Looks like chewed or flattened by some heavy object. Anon, these maps are 2x2. There are 4 of them and each one is different, also each one is related to every each different obelisk piece.

1st one, labeled "20" shows something in upper Egypt, somwehre near Aswan - possibly Abu Simbel.

2nd one, "40" is near Thebes/Karnak/Luxor. So I guess it must be Valley of the Kings but for some reason map points to the east cosat while Valley is on the west. Or perhaps ruins in Quena. Yeah, I'm 90% sure it's Quena, probably because of Dendra's Temple.

3rd map, "60" is probably Faiyum Oasis. I think it even reads "Al-Faiyum" on the map.

4th map, the "80" is pointing something in lower Egypt, north from Cairo/Memhis. Somewhere in Nile Delta. I'm not sure what.

Sphinx set contained all 4 maps, but other than that:
Top Left - the one with image of Khnum (goat/ram-like) came in 3 other sets. Adventurers car (one with Dr, not Johnny), Mummy's Tomb (one with stone head trap) and Baron's plane.

Top-right one (Anubis/Jackal head) was available in set with tan plane and bad guys car, Johhny's car and Mummy's cart.

Bottom left - Thoth (Ibis/bird head) was very rare and came in this >>7785139 set only.

Bottom right looks like Horus with Sun disk. It came in set with tan plane and car or that big temple.

I was expecting lego to put out a piece like this for years now desu. Unexpectedly they made the snot pieces stick out by a half-plate as if they were brackets and the t-shaped plates are an odd shape to say the least (my guess would be rigidity).
These pieces will change the game of sorts, but maybe not as much as you think. Now this is my personal autism territory of tryint to slam vehicles as low as possible while being stable, but this does make for some wheel solution limitations and width limitations. But most important of all for me wheelbase limitations as i really like the more stubby lego-fied look.

I'm interested to see where this ends up and how the new speedchamps prototype ends up looking in more final iterations.

Good for SUV's and big vehicles. Still can't imagine tiny supercars in 8 wide. Still the main issue is cars' height. If you want a proper sccale car, it can not be much taller than a standing minifig. Meanwhile many LEGO cars look like they are for giant people. This is the height of any normal car you should be aiming for - not my creation, I found it. Of course offroads or SUVS can be slightly bigger, but not too much.

I think the width shouldn't be fixed. Of course 6 wide is the most optimal but cars like Hummer H1 would probably be better in 8 wide. It's a very wide boy and making it same as a Ford Mondeo or something doesn't make sense.

Yeah but couldn't lego just update this canopy? Forgive me my shitty paint skills but it would be so simple. They created dozens of various molds but something like this would make cars building so easy. And not just for us, it would work for kids too. By adding each segment they could make a 2 door, a 4 door, or even a very long limo.

It's a 4x6 base with 5x3 interior. Enough to get 2 minifigs and some dashboard details.

I think LEGO designers are slowly realising this. Take a look at latest copcar. It has very good proportions, now the only issue is that it's again single seater.

Sadly there's nothing like the binoculars but with more holes, making the turrets significantly wider would probably have partially blocked the 360° traverse. I did want do triples since double were pretty rare, guess they got stolen for the Yamatai refit.

Zero I bought a box from amazon that was crumpled but was given the guarantee that the LEGO was all there.

The box is intact enough that there isn't any pieces missing, it's just very crumpled from being completely flattened on one end. I was thinking that if I make up a sob story about the set being meant to be a birthday gift and that I can't gift it now because the box is ruined, they'd refund me but if they want me to ship it back I'm not going to bother.

I stopped buying new sets and just buy multiples of the specific pieces I want through Lego's replacement pieces system.

Why buy a $150 Arctic set just for the mammoth and a bunch of plates you don't need when you can buy as many mammoths as you want directly from Lego for less than 1/3 of the bricklink price

One of my better jobs. Probably took the better part of an hour. She went through about half a dozen hairpieces before I found the perfect one. This one was nice but once I added the skunk tail it no longer fit correctly because the tail pushed it up away from the head stud.

I sold a Mordor Orc minifig to a bloke, but now he's bugging me.

I sent it in an envelope surrounded in bubblewrap, but he sent me an image complaining about a giant mark/gash on the head. Now, the minifig was fine when I sent it, and I'm 100 % certain that for it to happen in transit the whole letter would have been destroyed. He's bugging me after an extra head since "he wants the minifig but wants an undamaged head".

I'm feeling like he's trying to rip me of (besides I don't own a spare head) so I'm thinking that he can either keep the minifig or send it back and I'll pay him including the return shipment fees. Sounds fair? Or what would you guys do?

Not really. In both looks and personality he's very different to Vlad the Impaler.

Although Lego would never do it, a sequel to KKII where Vladek has become far more cruel and brutal after long years of imprisonment would be cool though.
