I think the Bale head is pretty good, even tho mine came with a small paint splotch on it. QC in general is really the only issue here: mine has a loose knee (tho that part is canon lol) and the hands are a bitch to change as the joints tend to separate. But I still like him a lot as the sculpt is great, and again I like the bonus faces. Also he was pretty cheap when I got him (2500 Yen) so a good quality/price ratio to me.
Concerning the figuarts, don't have him so I can't say much about it, but he looks great in the pics I've seen, and seems to be the same scale as the mafex.
He seems to have a shiny finish on the suit, and his shoulders seem a tad big (probably to gove him more "heroic" proportions as figuarts tend to do) so these small details might be les accurate than the mafex, but again I don't have him so that might be a misjudgement on my part.
And then there's the mafex 3.0, but I have no idea how he fares with the 2.0 and the figuarts
