>>7794797>>7794838Honestly they can't just surprise people with a pre-order of a very expensive toy. If you give a couple months notice that a pre-order will start, it gives people time. Then if the toy is very expensive as in the case with Unicron, you also have to have the pre-order open for a few months, which ended up being what happened eventually. They also had it going at the same time as Cookie Monster, who everyone was first pissed about, because it seemed like Hasbro wasn't going to give us something more action oriented like the Sail Barge. And Cookie Monster was a surprising thing to be offered, that I don't think many people even considered wanting at first, and then having it sprung on us with no time to prepare and then also compete for our money against Unicron, it didn't exactly help.
