The Hulkbusters also had LED lights, way more sculpted detail, die cast parts, and other gimmicks, plus its an Iron Man suit, and they basically charge whatever they want for those.

The price will be high, but I doubt it will be on the level of the Hulkbusters.

My average figure costs have skyrocketed recently. Tracking down rare stuff from 10-20 years ago, I'm not surprised to pay $100 for a 1/12 anymore.

Hell, the statueshit stuff now is $200 standard for the good ones, so a $400 pricetag for an Oozaru wouldn't even shock me.

$400? $500? What are you guys talking about? I know 1/12 figures have been skyrocketing in price like crazy, but $500? Can anybody list another example of a Figuarts/MonserArts or anything being $400-500 on release?
Even Shenron which is probably about just as much plastic as Oozaru is on the cheaper side of things. Of course, Oozaru will likely be more expensive, but I still don't see him being over $200 max, but I'm thinking closer to $120-150 range..

Shenron was about 100$ retail iirc and Ape Vegeta will use a lot more plastic so I think 200$ can be realistic if he really is 13-14 inches.

He's technically correct because the SROE doesn't have the correct kanji to be accurate to saiyan saga. But we did have the exclusive Kaioken Goku so I'd use that as comparing material myself.

He wears this in his fights with the Ginyu Force and Frieza, until ultimatly his Gi is torn and he becomes SSJ.

He carries it later in Super, but only with the sash, instead of belt, until Broly of course.

However, back to the Saiyan Saga more specifcally, I believe he is pretty battle damanged by the time he fights Oozaru Vegeta. So a Kaioken warrior awakening or Ultra instinct body with a base head would be even better!!

Also almost forgot DF are bringing us the blue shirt Goku.

Surprised berserk Kale isn't listed on that survey from the other thread considering she's basically female Broly. You'd think that'd she be a fairly safe choice but Kale stuff in general is almost non existent. You pretty much need to put together the build-a-figure if you want her atm. Considering Caulifla's body really doesn't change between base, SS and SS2, they could probably throw in all three in one release.

Picked up Zamasu at Gamestop, mostly just because I was surprised to see him there. I was so caught off guard that I just dealt with the $70 price tag, and didn't think until I got home to make sure I wasn't get fucked compared to BBTS or Amazon or something. Decent value, I guess. He cost about as much as my Brolys, but he has more accessories and things, which balances with Broly's bulk, I think.

Do the Dragon Stars Spirit Sword effects work with Figuarts Zamasu's hands? I was going to get base Zamasu anyway, so I may as well grab the Blacks

Good figure to start off with is Saiyan Raised on Earth Goku (the base form Goku) which is at a cheap price, and a pretty good standard figure.

If you like him, Frieza, Super Vegeta, Scouter Vegeta, etc. are all pretty good standard figures to get as well. Super Buu is almost undeniably the best figure in the line.

I'd start with the Broly Movie Vegeta, Goku, and Broly's. Goku's cheap, Vegeta comes with a red and blue head, and Broly's the best figure in the line, period.

SROE is a good choice, he's cheap and comes with a decent amount of hands and faces. Also all of the current 2.0 Goku's have swappable heads, so he's decent if you even want a base form head on any of the other bodies. Same with all of the 2.0 Vegeta's, all the heads are swappable, and base form Vegeta even comes with 2 full heads, so you basically get an extra head to put on any of the others you might have nabbed over time, so it's something to keep in mind if you ever get any others eventually.

My biggest wants are Chi Chi, Bandit Yamcha, Grandpa Gohan, Yajirobe, Teen Goku, Oolong, etc. Hopefully they retool great ape Vegeta for a great ape Goku, that'd be pretty sweet since the size is more fitting.

Well based on my post last thread, kid chichi, desert yamcha, tien with his shirt and yajirobe are some of the characters they are looking to do.

But interestingly, what I didn't pose was the list of accessories, which list battle damaged faces (UI goku), vehicles (bulma bike) and non posable accessory characters, which they have Cheelai and Pilaf down as examples!! Oolong, puar, korin, kid gohan would make other good choices.

I like them. A lot of them are in scale to SH Figuarts so its nice to have a cheaper alternative to figures that are now hugely inflated on the aftermarket.

I wish to god they would do more unique things like First Form Frieza, though. Cover the figures that aren't getting Figuarts. I wish they'd rerelease Kale now that they're done with BAFs too.
I assume Krillin is going to be comically out of scale, much like Cabba.

CEA17 came in today. Going to need a hot water fix and I will be drilling out hands, but they look legit besides that. If they resculpt and fix Majin Vegeta's hair then I think they'll be better than DF and I'm glad both exist.

DFs Kaioken Goku is a pretty solid repaint. My only complaint is that for whatever reason the neck is shorter. No loose joints whatsoever and it comes with an aura effect. It's worth it if you want a Kaioken Goku and you dont wanna pay $120+ on the EE or SDCC one.
