>>7812863>>7812745>Blizzard swears that it's not because they got a phone call from China after he said it. I beleive them if they said it that way. There is no way Blizzard got a phone call in the extremely short amount of time it took them to act. They cut the interview stream IMMEDIATELY, and right away issued the suspensions. It's worse then them bowing to China, they are so in China's pocket they know exactly what their overlord wants without them having to ask a damn thing. Hell maybe china never said ANYTHING to blizzard about this whole ordeal outside of praise for doing the will of glorious leader. Wouldn't surprise me.
>>7812680everyone seems to focus so much on that proplayer when I am far more upset about the casters. He has already stated he KNEW what he was going to do was against the rules, he knew what he was asking for, and that's the point of making a sacrifice for a noble cause. But those two casters? they didn't choose this, they were bystanders dragged into his choice something he is actually starting to regret his actions because of. Blizzard knew he wouldn't give much of a shit if they struck him down, so they struck down the innocent as well.
And that 'they only suspended for 6 months' Blizzard pulled, I'm sorry, are you PROMISING to give them their job back after that time? because it's not like being a pro player siging up for a tournament, they LOST A JOB. FIRED. so far all that 'suspended for six months' says to me is they may be allowed to apply to blizzard employment after then but no guarentees
and what other company is going to pick them up in that country? they got fired for going against China, no one is going to hire them regardless of context.
Blizzard needs to suffer more for what they did to them rather then what they did to the player.
