>>7801697Marvel MCU stuff. Slowly getting rid of my MCU SHFs. At first the "its your favorite super heroes but REEEAL" was neat when I was younger, but I haven't caught on with the MCU much past Iron Man 2 to care about the merchandise. Just a few movies here and there seen out of sequence. Furthermore, the designs don't hold up to well for me beyond their debut. They don't have that "pop" that I like seeing so much in various marvel comic art. I think that's why I branched into stuff like Kamen Rider instead of gluing onto the MCU, since Plex is willing to forego "realism" for the sake of motif and style. I have stood my Marvel stuff next to my Kamen Rider stuff a few times. There's just something positive that clicks in my head when I do it with the comic figures rather than the movie ones, despite the movies also being live action.
I think in the end all I'll keep is Tony, Mk III, and War Machine. Later down the line, should I reach and like most of the stuff up to Endgame, I'll pick up the IW and EG versions of the characters and call it a day.
At the end of the day, I realize my casual stake in the Marvel stems from nostalgia from the 90s cartoon shows, toys, and video games like MvC. Mafex is appealing to that and is leading me back into looking at Marvel Legends and and a bit of Amazing Yamaguchi.
