The many real life characters are often impossible to identify, but that's more to blame to the license its based on that's selling. Funkos are kinda cute and work well when they are based on a simple and colourful/cartoony sourcematerial that complement the standard buck. Think, batman, Tony the Tiger, Raphael from tmnt, Cammy White etc.
'Some gray 5 o'clock shadow buzzcut man in jeans and coat' isn't what they're really good for, yet i guess they sell with fans of those shows and the money is too sweet not to go all in.
To their credit, whenever they have to add on wacky shapes outside their buck they can make really cool looking toys.
