>>7891612They're literally only available for a few days each year, sold exclusively at several conventions and for a week or so of preorders online before said conventions. They go for about $35 directly from the source, although that is always inflated by shipping. For my Tenshi up there, I paid about $60 total buying straight from the online store, Gift. Shipping was $20 (although I chose the most expensive and fastest option.) and the forwarder fee was $5.
Because Fumos are so lightweight, the cheapest one could possibly pay for one is about $45, where one pre-orders and buys from Gift online, has it shipped to a forwarder (Usually between 3-5 bucks) who then ships it to you with the cheapest option. This is usually uninsured ail mail. It can range from $5-10 for lightweight stuff. However, you run the risk of loss or damages with this.
The most reliable way to obtain a Fumo is also the most expensive: fly to Japan during a convention, get into that convention, find the booths selling Fumos and buy one there. Needless to say, this is only a good option if you plan on doing other stuff there.
And I'm glad you're not into them either, anon. The Fumo cycle is a scary thing.
