Amazons top action figures is the saddest toy-related thing on the internet. The two most ordered items are funko pop advent calendars. imagine liking funko's so much you want 25 bootleg mini pops in your house.
Beyond that its mostly pops, and shitty 5 poa stuff like the 1/12 hero series. Ironically theres a lot of bakugan too. For some reason #11 is the power rangers cheetah sword (i have no clue why).
the first real toy is at #24 which is the doom mcfarlane figure. It's an alright figure. #36 is the black series mandalorian. the first tranformer is #65 shockwave (which is suprising because I thought an optimus or megatron would be higher). the only figuarts release is at 98 with piccolo.
The thing this list has taught me the most is that people on amazon like cheap miniatures(pokemon, and any 4 inch figures with no articulation), and pops. even if they are low quality, its nice to know kids still buy toys.
the most disturbing thing is the sheer ammount of pops. half the list is literally pops. It seems like the big shelves in stores actually do sell based on these numbers. It makes me speculate that pops really do have an addictive quality too them beyond scalpers buying them.
