>>7818853>what's that clear pink one?MoFangGe 3x3 Warrior W Jelly.
They are mass produced, relatively cheap, absolutely beautiful and are pleasure to handle, since they are using Warrior W mechanism, designed for speedcubing.
They are easy to find, so I don't even need to shill any store.
Be aware though that transparent and translucent plastic is currently prohibited by WCA, so you can't bring those to any official competitions.
> Is there a speed advantage for solving it using the more advanced methods?Yes. Current world record is achieved by CFOP/Fridrich method. Which is the methods that was used for like all or almost all previous world records as well.
I think there was once or twice Roux method record, but I can be wrong on that, and it was beaten long time ago anyway.
>How hard are those to learnThat absolutely depends on the person. On your way of thinking, ability to remember shit, look ahead and all that.
But most importantly diligence. The more time and effort you spend on training the better you results are. You don't really have to have talent for this shit, just guts.
I mean I'm a 100% humanitarian that can't even remember his own cellphone number and I still managed to learn basic CFOP in 2 months.
>if anyone has links to any guidesJust google it. There are plenty of videos, online guides and printed books made for CFOP method, probably others too.
But CFOP/Fridrich (it's the same thing) is the most popular and well documented method.
Learning any other may require more research.
You can look up Petrus and Roux methods.
That being said I recommend learning beginner's method first, as it might give your courage to learn CFOP or any other method later.
Because when you mess up, or get lost, you can always fall back on something you already know and still solve your cube.
I mean I started to collect them first, and learn CFOP later, because I knew I can solve them anyway, even if it takes 5 minutes per cube.
