I've always liked legos and they're my favourite toys! The train set is cool to me because it is a functional train! Would like to see your opinions!

It was one of the kind when it came out. Also including 1930s style truck (great to recreate Indiana Jones chase before Indy licenced sets) and a hot air balloon for the 1st time ever.

Indeed. This temple is amazing. They included everything an Egyptian temple is made of. There's front facade, hypostyle hall and sanctuary. Of course due to LEGO limitations everything is shrinked but still a very nice set.

I could never afford the BIG pirate ship sets, but this was already great to me. not only did it have a lot of figs, but the small size made it easier to play with and bring around the house. i even gave it dragon wings and wheels for versatility

Not even that much into Castle but this thing is still my favourite set of all time, simply for how unique and ridiculous it is.
I also really like how the secondary model isn't just some throw-it-in shit like all those countless vehicles these days that should've been cheap standalone sets but instead it's something that feels like it belongs here and is integral to the whole complete package.

A few years ago they did a horror series. I have them all.

Mummy in chariot, Frankenstein lab, Dracula Castle, Werewolf tree ambush, Gill Man alone, and a (pretty rubbish) ghost train. Theyre all brilliant, only the ghost train lets it down as it's a bit bland.

Are you sure it wasn't a tomb with an extra skeleton inside? I remember Frank's lab and Werewolf tree too. It had a very cool retro car seating two minifigs just like Johnny Thunder cars.
