overall pretty good, for the Transformers episode though they could have given a little more time on the post G1 portions of the franchise(the episode basically acts as if Beast Wars and the Bayverse movies have been the only things Transformers has done since G1), and when they were covering the later years of G1 they act as if Takara completely dropped it's involvement with the line, even though the majority of the molds were still being designed by them, and they completely ignore the Japanese side of G1

Spawn toys were only relevant until they started to become statues like 3 years into the line. My interest in the toys died at that point. There's nothing really special about them except to say that there'd be no Neca toys without McFarlane starting the realistic action figure craze and pop culture figure craze.

I loved the Hello Kitty episode. I'm not a Star Wars person necessarily, but I really enjoyed the episode on that one too, and seeing all of the great collections that are showcased across the show.

I think the odds are good it will get at least some coverage, after all the GI Joe episode gave coverage to how Henshin Cyborg and Micro-Man/Micronauts played a role in GI Joe's 80's revival, and the Transformers episode gave a good amount of coverage on the roles that Diaclone and Micro-Man played in it's origins

Yeah an indie line started only a decade ago is a bit too obscure compared to industry giants, and it doesn't really qualify as a "toy that made us" since most of the people buying them up are in their 20s-30s compared to all the others being directed at kids.

so with Season 3's lineup being Power Rangers, Wrestling, My Little Pony, and TMNT, what franchises do you think they would use for a hypothetical Season 4?

I'm guessing Hot Wheels would be one of them(honestly amazed they haven't covered it yet), and probably an episode for Superhero Toys as well, and I could maybe see them doing an episode on Disney, not sure what else could work though
