It did tho, at least for a bit. Back in the Bloks days, Mega had the Kamen Rider and Gundam licenses in Japan. Sadly, it was before they hit on their winning figure formula though, so the minifigs are still very Lego-influenced.

this is the equivalent of some gun runners arsenal. within the crate there's a fuckload of guns, but all matched as black. heavy duty shit like LMGS, rifles, and rocket launchers.

also every ammunitions box carries flash and grenades. thats how i seperate the shit

and every interior there's gotta be some action going up top, so i spruced that shit with sandbags, barrels with tools, and within the halo crate there's the ice tools like picks and snowshoes just in case, but im thinking of putting more guns in there instead because each container has a theme

this is some scout shit right here, its mainly snipers and stuff and keeping lookout, nothing really special, i used the tmnt pizza containers to store laptops, pouches, and canteens

Is it diecast or a scale plastic model (though im guessing diecast wouldnt break easily)? Mega looks great with 1/32 but plastic models are also very fragile compared to brick built sets.

Theyre pretty good. The large dropship is badass, the smaller ships are cool, everything elseis nice, sparrows and all. Yhe fallen walker tank is nice but not too accurate, but still cool. Hive figures are kinda the low point of the line.

Finally found a grey in the wild! He was the last one, rest of the box was picked clean. To my Edmonton friend if you are looking for one, I found it a TRU. I had planned to visit TRU tomorrow actually, thanks for the heads-up. There's three in town but only one is readily accessible to me; their Mega section has been depressing the last few times I've visited. I did manage to get myself a trio of Greys and a Mulder thanks to that awesome US anon, but I'd definitely pick up more if able to in person.

Took this pic over a year ago, they've since moved all their Mega to an aisle with even fewer shelves, which it has to share with other non-Lego construction toy brands. The ratio of Poke-to-everything-else has stayed the same. A half-full box of Heroes 2 (mostly Kirks, Spocks and Beastmen) has been languishing there for a while, we'll see if they've by some miracle got in the newer stuff. Superstore is the only other place in town that's stocked Heroes, though they're slow to get them as well. They had some Heroes 4 earlier this year but nothing more since that I know of. Heroes 3 never came here at all, sucks as I would've liked a Data to go with my Picard.

So it was both a disappointing and hopeful TRU visit today. They had some "new" stuff, mainly a stack of those CoD snowmobile and motorcycle sets, the 5-pack of MOTU figures, the UNSC Marine Defense with the two Drones, and half a box of Halo Heroes 8. That last only had Jackal Minors, Spartan Centurions and Emiles, but I'd managed to find a full box previously so I just got an extra Jackal for kicks. The disappointing yet hopeful part was they had a case of Halo 10th Anniversary blind bags... with one left. I asked if they had more in stock, they said there wasn't at their store but the other two in town showed in the system as having a lot. I won't be able to get to those until thursday, so we'll see. The one bag they had was the Brute captain.

The Walmart next door had a couple cases of CoD Heroes 4 and one of CoD Heroes 3. They also had the Black Ops 4 Standoff which I picked up. There wasn't any Halo at all, making me wonder if Walmart has dropped that altogether in favor of CoD and Poke. I don't remember seeing Halo at the last Walmart I visited before that.

I think you guys are crazy. I've been using weapons for minifigcat for years now and I've never had any issues. Whereas my hellboy shows signs of stress just from holding the revolver he comes with.
Pic related, this guy has been holding this rifle and being posed with it for at least 3 years now, no problems at all.

Think you are lucky. In this case, you actually wish for chinks to have a slight molding defect so the grips come out thinner than they should be.
I also get annoyed how Quan Guans Cobi knockoffs literally upsize the usually small Cobi accessories to standard Lego hand size. Real Cobi accessories fits in Mega hands just fine.

I dunno anon, I dont think its luck. I dont want to shill but I've been using guns from minifigcat for as long as I've been collecting mega, and I've never had a hand break. I don't really shave any material off, I just remove the triggers so the figs can aim down the sites better.
Also, when it comes down to it. At some point you're gonna want to know what happened to your sister. And you're gonna need a weapon system that can get the job done.
That's why I swear by minifigcat.

We already saw that he was coming, but it's nice to see the range of motion. Even just ball joints at the front paws and he can do quite a lot. The barbell joint for the neck is a really good idea too.

Holy fuck, I almost started hyperventilating upon expanding this image. These look to be the same size as Breakout Beast eggs judging by the studds on the bottom, that's a lot of room for just a Xeno minifig. Does that mean we'll be getting multiple ones per egg, or some additional accessories or something? Some marines would be a neat addition.

Also, even though it is very fitting for the theme, not looking forward to cleaning the slime off tiny minifig parts. It was hard enough off the relatively large, rubbery BB parts.

Very cool idea, but if they are regular mini figures, and you only get one per, a smaller size than breakout beasts (and a lower price point) would be a good idea I think. It's a fun concept but I feel the price of the beasts might be a factor for some people, hence why they aren't selling all that well generally (at least in my area).

I'm kind of annoyed by the simplicity of the Gems' house build (pretty much just saved by tampos)/the excessive use of specialized pieces in TWD set....but I also can't deny that they look great. Gem house looks comfy af, and that hospital scene looks properly foreboding.

I think my brick-builder brain is at odds with them because they "break the rules," but even I can admit that's fucking dumb. They look amazing, and that's what matters.

The GoT and WD sets are pretty much all tampos, weathering, and spray apps where needed. I don't think there were any stickers.
The Five Nights at Freddy sets are very minimal with stickers.

Only Steven and Rick and Morty shit used extensive stickers.

BTW, not a fan of any of these series. I just bought a shit ton of sets because holy shit buildable dioramas that are modeling quality (only FnaF, GoT and WD)

Im not surprised really. Found motu sets at tuesday morning thenother day. Target only carries a small selection, walmart has no mega until whenever they decide to carry it. No other store stocks mega. Tru is bust. All the stock meant for them goes to ross or wherever. Again, this happened with modern gi joes, and while its cool to find cheap toys, it doesnt help bringing out new items in the long run.
