she was 8800 yen iirc, but realize that she was also Premium Bandai webshop exclusive which makes it even more expensive for westerners to try and buy. She is tiny, and while the price is technically reasonable for what it is it also has features that I would rather it not have and be cheaper, like transforming wings and LEDs. If it didn't have the extra engineering and LEDs maybe it could have been at least 5000 yen.

it probably helps they are also very use to Gacha toys. Add in the fact this is really the first Naussicaa figure ever and people are more willing to forgive the small size. Not to mention this thing comes off like the glider is meant to be the main part of the toy while the figure is a side bonus.
