I can't believe the amount of low IQ short sigthed people falling for this.
When they bankrupt everyone doing kid-friendly content, kids will continue searching for Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft etc content and all they will find is inappropiate Fortnite, Roblox, MC etc content with people talking about adult topics, or straight swearing in order to avoid this absurd law, because those non-kid friendly channels are the ones that will remain profitable and thus recommended by the algorithm. The ultimate irony is that kids watching said content will be treated as adults by the algorithm, thus still showing them those "evil personalized ads" and now inappropiate ads since the content isn't targeting kids.
Content hit by this will have no comments enabled, no notifications for subscribers, no end screens, no playlists... basically nothing of what makes a YT channel worth working for. Thus anyone hit by this will leave, eliminating independent creators which are going to be replaced by corporations ((I wonder who is lobbying for this "law" to pass)). Notice how in official Sonic, Pokemon etc channels, you will not see their channels destroyed, meanwhile independent creators are already getting nuked.
Result:
-YT continues making tons of money
-Kids watch inappropiate content
-Corporations which are mad at some average joe with no resources getting more watchtime than their expensive studio creations, which are the ones lobbying to pass this "law" with the good ole "let's save the children narrative" to cater for the low IQ masses (just like how they pass mass spying laws due "terrorists") nuke all competition making content for younger audiences and they are now the only "YouTubers" left since they are the ones that remain profitable
