Some things seem to get removed and then made into figures, some get removed and don't get made into figures and then some stuff remain on the polls and turn into figures regardless.

Colors turned out good in the end, damn. Majin Buu is one of the few characters I didn't get multiples of and I already love the alt. head that came with Super Buu.

Most of the DB releases so far have come with a decent amount of accessories, so I'm more comparing it to that. But you're right, this is kind of the standard for a majority of releases.

Depends what you mean by lackluster. Less variety maybe. He comes with more expressions than the first figure, an extra set of arms for the rolled-up sleeves, a microphone and dragon ball.

The only other thing they could have included is the rice cooker but they already gave that to Piccolo. Also maybe a green hair option.

Double posting, but they definitely did not need such an open knee sculpt for the figure to have a good bend. This makes the already not so great OG Roshi knees look genius by comparison... It's like the lower leg was attached on from a different figure.

What this release needs are heads with the same face sculpts as the ones included (other than the funny one) but without the wig. So what DFs are you guys hyped for, what DFs do you want? Can be a full figure, can be a head set.
For me, I'm hyped for the Goku Black, the SS4s and Cooler, as well as the SSG/SSB Vegeta head set and SSG Goku head set.

Normal bootlegs yes. DF has been sturdy so far. Only Vegito has had an issue and that's solved with running him under warm water for a bit, which is something everyone should do when getting a new fig authentic or otherwise.

Honestly, I wouldn't be as saddened if they at least tried to provide better competitive pricing or availability here. As it stands the only way to buy import figures here "locally" is the Madman site posted earlier in the thread but one look at their prices is an instant "Fuck off!". Even specialty stores like EB Games here have only just gotten into selling shit other than just gaming in recent years. At least now I can finally look at Dragon Stars shit here locally, though they're more expensive than Marvel Legends for some reason.

Import customs are also a pain in the ass.
Even if I get something for a good price, it'll still end up being a 100+ euros by the time it reaches my doorstep since a single item can add 20-30 extra euros on top of the product's price and shipping.
It makes collecting far less appealing.

I found that Jap websites with the cheapest shipping option will allow me to bypass imports. Canada post slaps 10 dollars on anything they have to look at so the minimum is 20 dollars plus shipping if they see it. I grabbed a Dragon Ball Evolve Broly because it looked nice on the card and was only $10

I stole another one (fuck walmart) to take out of the box and it's a decent figure. Lots of movement, but the whole thing looks/smells like it's made of soft plastic and the torso comes disconnected from the legs pretty easily. Also the hair's green, like same as the sash green.

BUT it's better than the Shodo figure and looks like it'll fit a bit better with 1:18 figures

Anyway the whole figure runs on ball joints, the biggest downside is that it doesn't have any swappable hands, which kind of limits the potential poses you can do with it outside of the standard "Broly charing up" stuff, but I like it. It's nice. Super Broly was fun.

Funnily enough that is kinda what I did afterwards, though not intentionally. I first went on Amazon for a bit of browsing while bored and saw a used Zamasu from the Amazon Warehouse for about $48 or so. Later I went on Ebay and found a listing for $45 shipped to my USA mail forwarder address, so I ended up cancelling the Amazon order and just sticking with the Ebay order.

Guess I'll count this as a lesson to be learned in some way. I still have the AmiAmi order I need to pay but I can just do that next week before the deadline.
