>>7889898I have quite a varied experience with Body-Kun.
I ordered a Body-Kun (the male version) from the official website around September of this year. I got it sometime in October, but when I got it, the right foot was VERY loose, making it so that it couldn't support any weight at all. The worst part, however, was that the support stand was missing a nut, meaning that the stand also couldn't support anything due to not being able to be tightened. This combination meant that the figure was almost entirely unusable, so I emailed their support team, alerting them of my issues.
The person that replied to me was extremely nice and clearly cared about helping me with my issue. Their emails were professional and very polite. They told me that they would send me a new Body-Kun free of charge to make up for the disappointment of the first order. I was very pleased with this exchange.
However, weeks went by and I did not receive the replacement Body-Kun. I emailed the support team again, asking when I should expect the new figure. They replied (again, very politely) that they would notify me when the new figure was on its way, since they were having a stock shortage at the time. I was happy with this response, seeing as I didn't need the figure urgently.
Just a couple days ago, I received the replacement Body-Kun. It has no issues that I can detect. However, I never got a notification from the support team about the figure having been shipped, like they said they would. Still, I can't really complain when I paid full price for one belated figure and a half-effective figure. I can still position the first figure in basic poses if I balance it right, so I basically have two right now.
That's just my experience, though. Haven't messed with the knock-offs. From what it seems, the original website is trustworthy.
