>>7890897>1) the toy market in Japan for teenagers and collectors is larger than the children’s marketLOL You believe this? fucking deluded.
Look at how large a section any toy store will have for kids crap. You may point toward collector stores in BIG cities, but they're a tiny fraction in the rest of the country and number of kid toy sections there are
Nevermind the fact that a company like Bandai has... how many kid brands currently in production? Dozens and dozens, with multi waves every quarter vs a smaller fraction for collectors and usually a SINGLE release spaced out over a month or weeks.
>2) everything in Japan is more expensive compared to a country like AmericaNo shit? But look at those prices here:
http://is2.4chan.org/toy/1575704808756.jpg Just a bit more expensive than in the US.
>ii) disposable income in Japan is far higher than any Western country and prices are adjusted accordinglyAHAHAHAH
>http://www.oecdbetterlifeindex.org/countries/japan/>disposable income per capita is USD 29,798 a year, lower than the OECD average of USD 33,604 a year.So despite shit costing MORE in Japan, they have LESS money to spend than the US.
Your ignorance on all this just shows you're a europoor, jungle asian, or african. No real knowledge, because you spend so much time on the garbage mound to earn money for a new Shinki which you'll sell off a few months from now to buy your next newer Shinki.
Also, Shodo shit is basically no name licenses. There's a reason why the Marvel stuff was as expensive as it was and dumbed down. Nevermind that those Shodo figures are budget as fuck: cheap packaging, cheapshit lightweight plastics, and are mostly just colored plastic. Engineering is as minimal as they can be, with single hinged or ball joints wherever possible.
Cheap engineering is how Hasbro sold 3 vintage style Joes for $8 (but with more accessories and comic)
