>>7891996This year was a fucking crazy ass year. So many releases. And so many of those releases being great. But I'd have to say my figure of the year would have to be Mafex Spider-Man. The sculpt is a fantastic representation of my favorite Spidey artist, Mark Bagley p, they even included a non Bagley style head sculpt for more options. The paint, while divisive for some, is pretty fantastic in my opinion. I don't know why, but when I see pictures of other people's figures, the blue isn't as vibrant as mine. Maybe my toy room just has good lighting. The articulation is pretty spectacular, while not compromising the sculpt. And the accessories are pretty much all I'd ever ask for to be included with a Spider-Man. Only thing they could've added was a camera. While I was initially a little wary if the QC, I played with mine quite a bit when he first came out and I didn't have a single issue. He's the centerpiece of my Spider-Verse shelf and I couldn't be more pleased. In my humble opinion, he's the perfect Spider-Men you.
Other runner ups include SHF Super Buu, Mezco Sovereign Knight Batman, and Amazing Yamaguchi Iron Man. The Black Series Mandalorian was also a nice surprise that I can't stop messing with.
